About me: Moved to Durango from California last January but am from Charleston, South Carolina. I am currently working at Ken and Sue's with some great people. I love music, being on the water, hoodies, turtles, hiking, moonshine, dancing, camping, going to shows, sunshine, crystal clear water, kayaking, the Lowcountry, laughter, roadtrips, singing to good music in the car, the drive from Charleston to Beaufort, phosphorescence in the ocean at night, bluegrass, butterflies, pizza, Suliivans Island, SC, cheese, seashells, Jerry, sunsets, red wine, guys, 90210, corduroys, flip flops, Miami Vice reruns, night swimming, Bert's, knee high socks, pumas, Hello Kitty, cartweels, yachtzee, the 80's, red lipstick, daydreams, riding on the handlebars, smokes, bonfires, oyster roasts, cooking out after a long day of hiking or rafting, My So-Called Life, Chris Cornell, sleeping under the stars, Bon Scott, crosswords, four square, thrift stores, knee high boots, oreos and milk, the beach, mountain tops, etc.
Hate: Fake people, people that lie and cheat, running on empty, bad hair, elevator music, keds, back stabbing bitches, country music, running out of hot water, homesickness, breakups, paying good money to see a bad show, having the blues, mean people (they suck!!!)
My younger sister Ann lives here in Durango and her dog Avery and has lived here for like 10 years. I moved here because when I came to visit I liked what I saw and the pace of the town. I miss Charleston but needed a change of pace, so I'm looking for somewhere to call home. But....as the GD says, "Once in awhile you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right!"
