Lowdown is a four-piece original hard rock band from Wilmington Delaware.
Formed by four Mckean high school students in the late nineties as a hardcore group. They quickly became the areas premier heavy act.
Because of changing musical trends and creative differences, founding guitarist Brent Johnson took over vocal duties while lowdown fan and undiscovered talent Charlie Piccolomini joined up as the lead guitarist. The band soon added the energetic and skilled bassist Larry Dubin, but still needed a drummer. They called on a friend named Matt Bernardo who was well known for his insane metal drumming ability to complete the line up
The newly revamped lowdown has since expanded their sound from their hardcore roots to become a well-rounded hard rock band
Brent also Performs regularly with his Dad, Dub Glenn (www.dubglenn.com)
Resist at the Troc
Brent and his dad perform Pink Floyds Wish You Were Here
