band info (in a rough and ready manner):

it took some experience in other bands, lotsa time and line up changes till the four guys in LOW-DOWN HIGH found themselves being a band. bass player Chewie, drummer Robert and guitarist Bomba decided to rock on together when their previous band suddenly broke up in the summer of 2003.

it was dirty, sweaty 'action rock' they were crazy for so it was crystal clear the new project definitely needed to deliver exactly this particular style of music. a fourth member was needed, though: a second guitar player. simon was recruited for the job, chewie was forced to also take over the vocals and since this glorious moment in music LOW-DOWN HIGH’s line up is steady.

after quite some time in different rehearsal rooms the band began to play live and shared stages with THE LAST VEGAS, HELLFUELED, THE BLACK HALOS, THE REVOLVERS (amongst others) as well as with local rock’n’roll squads such as LOS DEEPEST and THE RYCOJETS (so much for name-dropping). temporarily we even had a fifth member (alex, vocals) but after a few months we decided to continue as a four-piece.

years passed by till the band finally entered the studio to record their first EP, containing 5 tracks of pure rock’n’roll turmoil, which was released on september 7th, 2007. make sure you'll order your copy before it's too late! :-)

LDH hope you enjoy their tunes as much as they do. look out for the upcoming album in spring 2009!
