About Lower 40 Records

We are delighted to bring you fine folks some of what we feel is pretty outstanding music out there today. Our bands tend to fall in the Americana genre, but definitely find themselves on different places on that spectrum. Lower 40 Records started with a release from Wrinkle Neck Mules, The Wicks Have Met, back in May of 2007. And we haven't let up since. 2009 is proving to be a stellar year with the anticipated releases from the Mules, as well as Chris Unck and the Black Roses. Be on the lookout for some magic from our newest addition, Night Driving in Small Towns. If you like music with substance, smart songwriting and the thing that true musicianship is made of, well, you've come to the right place. We aim to please!
