Formed by Dave Masoch and Paolo “Apollo” Negri, LOW FIDELITY JET-SET ORCHESTRA are the other side of Modulo 5. Beginning with Modulo 5’s nu-jazz and cinematic core, Low Fidelity Jet-Set Orchestra dive aggressively into vintage sound with deep funk roots, bossa-nova excursions, and an overdose of Hammond stabs, licks, chops and grooves.
The first Hammondbeat single (September 2007) is the 45 “Bahia Soul” b/w “Jazz Rocker” (HB7-02). 2 exclusives that set the foundation for this happening new project: cool vintage bossa sounds swirling with jazz, hard funk and Hammond grooves...tasty? Tasty!!! Ok, guys ! Our first album is out ! We are very glad to realease it with HammondBeat, and your cool comments as been appreciates... ! But we can't stay sit down and we work a lot in our studio. We recording a brand new album: Studio Works. This work will be released with Irma Records, and will contain 12 new tracks recorded as well with our classic vintage sound. 12 tracks freely inspired by the 60's and 70's library and background music like KPM, DeWolfe, Bruton, Ariete, etc.... Basé à Montréal, Henri Cording opère depuis longtemps sur les ondes de la belle province et plus généralement sur celles du nouveau monde. De Juneau à Ushuaia, ses mixtapes ont fait l'objet de trafics humains, de combats de rue, de recettes de cuisine, de coupes de cheveux douteuses et plus récemment de salades de mouettes dans certains restaurants chics du vieux Montréal. Fort de ce succés et jugeant les Ameriques saturées par son art, il décide aujourd'hui de traverser l'Atlantique et de s'attaquer au vieux continent.
VOLUBILIS (radio) accueille mr Henri Cording et ses "Happening" tous les mardis à 21h30 (heure de Paris). Bienvenue mr Cording.
