    .. ............Myspace Layouts.. - ..Myspace Editor.. - ..Image Hosting.... This recording project marks a return for me to the making of music. I exited the "INDUZTRY" about 10 years ago and haven't missed it at all. But finding myself with a little time on my hands, I decided to have a little fun and see what would happen if I recorded some tunes. I also wanted to see if I could do this by just playing the instruments I had on hand, with minimal assistance from digital trickery (other than mix down effects and percussion loops). What I ended up finding around the house were an old banjo and an acoustic bass, plus various toys like a melodica. I am calling this collection "Appalachian Reintarnation" and the name comes from an imagined Bond film where James is reborn as an Appalachian mountaineer, Jethro Bodine Bond. But in a sense the whole project is about rebirth (as a musician) and an Arcadian innocence of sorts. I am setting about rediscovering what music is important to me and just what I can actually "play." I had lost my soul to the commercial devil when I was composer-for-hire and am now trying to see if there is a shred real music left in my bones (or was I really just a digitally enhanced charlatan all those years ago?). I have never made music like this before; it is a new method and a new sound (for me at least). I also never planned on releasing any of this to the general public but whenever I have played this work for friends and old colleagues, they have encouraged me to keep going. For this I am indebted to Grant (who pronounced the curse and issued the challenge), Kristian (great perception and encyclopedic knowledge), Elise (for getting me off my ass to actually "write" something), Harry (even if he doesn't like Summertime, but who told be to stop calling this "my little recording project"), Justine (brutal honesty), Audrey and Mia (both of whom have provided a great education). So behold "Appalachian Reintarnation" in all its out of time, out of tune, funky, ragged human glory.

    Hi Low Group Mod ,

    Its been a while and we thought it was about time we updated you on what we've
    been up to. Our debut EP Little World is now available at our gigs and will
    soon be available from our myspace and facebook pages, you will also be able to
    download it from itunes, but we don't have a release date for this as yet.

    To celebrate the fact that we have now reached 25,000 plays on myspace, we are
    giving you a free MP3 of Rockabye Baby. All you have to do is send your email

    We have spent the last year rehearsing with a full band and are now ready to
    bring it on the road. You can get a look at us when we appear on Balcony TV
