Low Water's work has garnered praise from NPR, Amplifier Magazine, AM New York, The Pittsburgh Post Gazette, West Coast Performer, Cincinnati CityBeat, The Davis Enterprise, and that guy down at the end of the bar over there. Two of the band's videos have been featured on FUSE On Demand; the most recent of which ("Go") was done in collaboration with modern dance troupe sleepdance and members of The Momenta Quartet.
“Voodoo Taxi” has been in rotation on WFUV in New York City (where the band performed live in the studio for the "Alternate Side" Program), and has been getting airplay on several stations including WCSB (Cleveland) and WEXT (Albany) as well as Internet Radio stations here and abroad. PopHeadwound.com also posted the track as a “Song Of The Month." The band acts as its own record label, manager, publicist, radio promotions company, and sometimes, lawyer (hereinafter known as "us").
So far in 2009, PBS featured the tracks "House in the City" and "Wyoming" on its acclaimed documentary series Roadtrip Nation, and will be featuring "Motown" this fall. "Motown" can also be heard on The Armed Forces Network on U.S. military bases all over the world. "Voodoo Taxi" will appear on Midfinger Records Busta compilation in Italy, and there's more radio in-studio performances in the works. The band will be playing regionally in the Northeast and touring in the summer and fall of '09.

Thanks for the request! I'm definitely interested in checking out more of the music. You guys have a great sound and I've had "Voodoo Taxi" on repeat for a while.
Hey, thanks for the add. I must say, I am pretty impressed with your sound. I almost didn't want to leave a comment right away. I became a little caught up listening to all the songs. So, hows it going?
That's right! None of you have beards, though I don't think I ever saw Johnny or Dave with beards anyway. Also, my brother's mustache MORE than makes up for the otherwise lack of facial hair, no? :)
No NYC plans on the horizon. I appreciate that you keep asking though! I love that big ole village and everyone in TPF is aching to get back to Hoboken for some fresh mutz.
Hey guys! We played Voodoo Taxi in the newest episode! Just do a search for ruKus radio in the iTunes store podcast section. And please, help us spread the word by telling your fans!
