"I have always accepted the fact that acoustic guitars sound horrible on stage... Then I met LR Baggs! I never knew how good an acoustic
guitar could sound on stage until I plugged into the Para DI. Before
that, the studio was the only place I could get that full beautiful tone.
Now thanks to you guys that tone is with me where ever I go!" - Ben Kweller
Uses: Para DI and M1

Lloyd Baggs introducing his new Acoustic Reference Amplifier - AVAILABLE NOW!
Longtime LR Baggs fan, the legendary Richie Furay of Buffalo Springfield and Poco brought his trademark enthusiasm and energy to the Acoustic Cafe for Collings Guitars.
From 1976 through 1983 Lloyd Baggs was one of the premier west coast luthiers and an innovator in acoustic guitar design, pioneering the application of scientific measurement to guitar acoustics. His guitar making clients included Jackson Browne, Ry Cooder, Janis Ian and Graham Nash.
His understanding of the guitar's vibrational dynamics was a big advantage when he turned his attention to guitar amplification. This knowledge has been the foundation for five U.S. patents with three more pending; the LB6, Ribbon Transducer, X-Bridge, iBeam, Element pickup and M1- and now the Acoustic Reference Amplifier.
No other pickup maker knows guitars like we do. It is our clear cut advantage and the reason why our products work and sound better.

You Guys are the Greatest! I've used and performed with the IBeam,RTS 2, Element Active, M1, M1 active, Para DI, and Gig pro, and they cannot be beat! Good times with Baggs!
My LR Baggs amp got knocked off a four foot table onto concrete today.... Work GREAT! No problems what-so-ever. Wish I could say the same for my Collings OM42.
