Art, Literature, Video Games, RPG design, Game design, Game Art, Writing, Drawing, Animation, Computers and stuff. (I'm really big on the whole concept of stuff.. it's like big)
Eclectic: Metal, 80's hair bands rock, Classical, Video Game and movie soundtracks and scores, some J-pop, Alternative - Recently I've favored Rock, hard rock and strangely enough Tori Amos/Sarah Mclaughlan/Michelle Branch - I think I have a tumor, that's the only explanation for the last one.
Movies
The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Master and Commander, Kingdom of Heaven, Hellboy, Sunset Boulevard, Carey Grant Films, Kurosawa Films, Ghost in the Shell, Akira, Nausica and the Valley of the Wind, Princess Mononoke.
Television
Lost,Heroes, Jericho, Battlestar Galactica, Stargate SG-1, Drawn Together, South Park, Stargate Atlantis, Farscape, Red Dwarf, Dr. Who, Wire in the Blood, XPlay
Books
Anything.. I can read and enjoy just about anything - well except for math textbooks and VCR instruction manuals.. or legal proceedings. I favor fantasy and sci-fi works because reality is real enough, I like to escape instead when I read.
Current book series I'm reading: Nothing really - working my way through some short story work trying to get my own writing back on track.
Heroes
I find it hard to idolize celebrities or public people... They aren't real people anyway, just merchandising and marketing campaigns.
I've been plying the electronic pen for over 5 years as a writer of technology and game related stories. Having written freelance for a major daily newspaper and a major website, I'm now focusing on podcasting and moving my journalism into new media

About me: I don't quite know what to do with myself. I've been many things in the last few years - Father, Husband, Writer, Photographer, Marine, Student... I'm just biding my time now looking to see where I land.
Who I'd like to meet: New people. People who are new.. you know the drill. Mostly looking to make friends or enemies in these parts, nothing lofty mind you.

What Is a Veteran? A "Veteran" -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America," for an amount of "up to, and including his life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today, who no longer understand that fact.
OK, I KNOW YOU HAVE ONE. WHERE CAN I GET ONE? I AM DESPERATE.UHHHH, I AM TALKING ABOUT A Wii. I THOUGHT I BETTER MAKE THAT CLEAR. HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA

Hey, Shawn! Just dropping in to say hello and to tell you that my new novella LIVING STONE has just been released by Sam’s Dot Publishing.
When stones fall from the sky . . .
Old Herne is terrorising Forest Gate, and the London police are stumped. For three months his victims have been found dead at the church down Cernunnos Lane, their bodies brutalised beyond recognition. Leading the investigation is Oscar. He is yet to uncover one single clue that reveals the killer’s identity or his motives. He does, however, have the prestigious honour of being the only person to have seen Old Herne and lived . . . trouble is, Oscar can’t remember what he saw, and now he has been kicked off the case.
However, Oscar isn’t deterred. Dogged by nightmares and visions of shadowy monsters, he becomes obsessed in his pursuit of the killer and the truth behind his lost memories. But even he couldn’t guess that Old Herne’s origins hark back to the turn of the first millennium, and a legacy left by the man who dared to meddle with stones from the sky.
LIVING STONE, a vampire fantasy, is now available to buy at The Genre Mall
