lslapiko radio...the finest in Boston rock.
lslapiko radio is off the web-waves as of April 2006. It's been a privilege and a pleasure doing the show and I appreciate all the support of the bands and listeners! I'm figuring out what to do with the archives; I may post them someplace if people are interested in listening to old shows.
lslapiko radio is a web-only showcase of the best of Boston rock. Why the web vs. a traditional broadcast show? The web offers much better accessibility. Not dependent on a limited broadcast signal, listeners can enjoy the show wherever they happen to be located. And though not live, it's not time-dependent, so the show can be listened to at your own convenience.
In the spirit of incompetence that's characterized all my prior dealings with the broadcast world, I give you lslapiko radio, where I'll be playing all the newest local music I can get my hands on, and letting you know what shows I think are worth going out to each week. It may not be polished, but it's the best way I can think of to make sure the music of Boston gets heard by as many people as possible.
