The newest songs going up on this page are from the Indie film, "Teenaged," due for release in early 2009.
Lana Sutton Project combines the talents of professional working musicians and studio recording artists for an all-original set that will soon be a CD. Please meet some of the folks who give us our unique sound:
Lana Sutton, songwriter, vocals, promotion, some guitar, manager, arrangement, copyright holder to songs and sound recordings, writes unapologetically honest autobiographical rock songs. She is influenced by her experience as a journalist, and from her days in Atlanta grunge bands in the '90s. A Chattanooga-based NPR Music 88.1 FM news producer, freelance writer, personal trainer and yoga instructor, her day jobs have been primarily in the news departments of TV and radio stations, newspapers, magazines and federal lobbying groups.
Art Rahn , sound engineer, master technician, rhythm guitar, manager, arrangement, is an acoustic gypsy and technical prodigy, who avidly enjoys his freedom from single-track careers. The former Georgia Tech electrical, aerospace and mechanical research engineer and commercial airline pilot has written a "Rockets & Robots" curriculum that he teaches to gifted children in the summer. He is producing and engineering our first CD, which will be available on MySpace in 2008.
Drummer Mike Kelley is a 33 year-old web designer/graphic designer, who has owned a website since 1994, and designed sites since 1995. He is a college-trained percussion expert, and has been in bands since age 15, including the groups, Rubber Soul, The Sweaters, Moe Savvy, Third Road and Lana Sutton Project.
Bios coming soon for Kathy Rowell, bass, and Jim Walling, lead guitar.
Special thanks to guests artists, whose work can be heard on this page: Jon Colston, Kelly Basden, Tom Standridge and Todd Looper.

We'll be promoting that wholeheartedly. Other songs on this site are early versions of songs we're recording for the LSP CD. We thank the members and former members of LSP for their work on this project.
Whether you want rock or heartfelt blues, Chattanooga-based Lana Sutton Project is taking up both lanes.
Its members emulate rock and blues from '70s trip music, the wailing Led Zeppelin sound and '90s grunge, all sensuously immersed in primal percussion and bass, towering guitar and over-the-top emoting.
"Our mission is to build audience emotion to a crescendo. We'll tease or pound it out of them," said lead vocalist, songwriter and sometimes guitarist, Lana.
LSP's set list is overwhelmingly originals with a few well-placed covers to give the audience songs they love, and a few tunes they recognize. The band is recording its first CD, and will be promoting it throughout the Southeast.

So how's the kudzu growing? A fellow down the road told me that he used to bale it and feed it to cows some 30 - 40 yrs. ago. Need to have a kudzu song showcase - with 10 kudzu songwriters sharing their kudzu kompositons. Dalton, GA had a Kudzu festival for a few yrs., they brought in old 60s-70s rockers - such as Steppenwolf & Three Dog Night,(not sure how many of the original members in the bands). Kudzu is still on the list of plants for preventing soil erosion in GA. Does a mighty fine job I do believe. Also swallows up houses, abandoned cars, trees, and anything else in its way. Almost like something of of an early 1950s sci-fi flick. T
Thanks for bein' a pal here at this myspace junction, Lana. Such a fabulous sound you have. Definitely look forward to all your creative, musical endeavors! Mike
