My Wedding Vows to my Husband

Before this day, I gave a part of myself to you, hoping to express the utmost sincerity, love and commitment. As you place these rings on my finger, I promise to give myself wholeheartedly: spiritually, emotionally and physically, striving to be the best wife that I can be. I will not promise you that there will not be any trying times but I can guarantee that you will always hold this heart of mine. I pray that each morning that I am blessed to be kissed by your inner glow on my skin and each night I am welcomed into your serenity. You are the song that serenade my feet and in return, I desire to be the inspiration in each step.

A German scientist once said that “…love is blind, but marriage restores its sight;” I pray that our love awaken each sense to broaden horizons unmentioned and concealed. I do not accept this ring solely on tradition but on the sake that we will officially become one. May God be our guiding light during darkest moments and rejoice in our highest of highs.

Who I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet the black sheep family member who can still hold his or her head up high after being mentally beaten down and can forgive those who judge them for being different. I'd like to meet a person who dares to tap dance on the outside of the box theory and piss on it until they can soak it with misery and create an opening to the ones who are closed in it. Maybe, I would like to meet the narcissistic racist who can convince me that his theory is correct; a religious hypocrite who can explain their way out why they believe God is watching every bad deed everyone else is doing except them. Better yet, a person who can explain the definition of normal or maybe the person who cared enough to read through my whole page...for that, I thank you.
