The core of the band, from Bresso near Milan, starts in 1995, when two friends, Nesta e Zilly, meet daily to write songs and to play at each others house.
With a voice, a guitar and a base the soul of the band is born. Throughout the years many drummers and guitarists play with the original members of the group, Nesta and Zilly.
In 2006 a new guitarist, Mao, and a new drummer, Pisu, join and the band continue playing in competitions, live concerts and various other occasions. The name of LT 81 is given to the band; LT comes from Lungo Tram, the tram that links the city of Milan with the outskirts north of it, where the area called Brianza borders on the metropolis.
LT, which is only a little planet in this galaxy, carries on unchanged for many years in its regular orbit, while LT81 looks for its path, with a rich repertoire of new Italian rock music.
From this point onwards this overwhelming adventure starts: LT81, like an orbiting spaceship, leaves behind its planet of origin (LT), in order to explore new frontiers, in search of new forms of music. And what else?? There is more to write,to play with music to listen to!
