Aimee's Interests
|
| General | Where I use to live:
Where I currently live:
 | | Music | I seem to not be able to make a commitment to any one type of music. I have or am a fan of everything .... I think except that I don't seem to care for HEAVY METAL, and I can't stand Marilyn Manson. I listen to alot of Oldies, Motown Sound. This would include Aretha Franklin, Beach Boys, the Tempting Temptations. Listen to 80's and i like Funk. Ska - if not familiar with Ska I use Reel Big Fish, or even No doubt are the closest in the mainstream music. Southern Rock - CCR , Eagles. Classic Rock is a lot of space in my CD collection - The Doors, the Rolling stones, The cars, Eagles, Aerosmith, Kansas. Another big part of my CD's are 90s country music. R&B and Hip Hop take up another big chunk including Wyclef, Eminem, Boyz II Men, TLC, Envogage (SP?). Then I have this wondeful group that I was introduced to called Rusted Root, and all I can say is that they are wonderful, and I actually own ALL of their CDs (this is the only group that I have all of their stuff). I left out a lot of the other music groups that I listen to cause I figured that I would just list the major ones. | | Movies | Movies, are wondeful cause they are such a representation of our society. I have a lot of favorites. The types of movies are everything from the silent films of the 20's to musicals, comedies, romance, and action. The only kind that I don't do are horror movies. I will do suspense though. My favorite movies are........ Memento, Fight Club, Donny Darko, Full Metal Jacket, Ever After, Cinderella, Philadelphia, West Side story, Gone with the Wind, Top Gun, Dirty Dancing, Fast and the Furious, Wizard of OZ, The Incredibles, Seven, Shawshank Redemption, Malcom X, Dead Man Walking, Pretty Woman, Charlie's Angels, Coyote Ugly, Resevoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, What to do in Denver when your dead, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Blood in... Blood Out, Hitch, yeah... basicly tons. Notice though no mention of chucky, kujo, the ring, emily rose, exercism, hellraiser. Yeah | | Books | I read TONS!!! I will read most books, and almost all kinds. However, romance doesn't really seem to appeal to me even enough to finish a book in that section. Have read everything from English classroom classics, philosophy, pop psychology, religion, to fantasy and Sci-fi. I love books that the public doesn't seem to notice, but don't shun the ones that they do either. |

About me:
AIMEE BROWN Aimee Marie Brown, 26, of Las Vegas, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2008. She was born June 6, 1982, in Fort Campbell, Ky., and was a 23-year resident of Nevada. Aimee graduated from A-Tech High School early in 1999, and worked as an office manager for Greg Hess Heating and Air until the time she became disabled. She was a member of the debate team in high school. She had many friends and touched the lives of everyone, she met. Aimee put up a long and brave fight against her illness, but died comfortably with friends and family present. She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents; grandfather; aunts; uncles and a cousin. Aimee is survived by her mother, Sue Allen; stepfather, George Allen; Jesse and Cindy Brown, sister, Callie Busse; brothers, Joshua and Jacob; grandparents, Bill and Martha Martin; grandmother, Adeline Lastine; aunt and uncle, Rosa and Kenny Delk; uncle, Hugh Cattanach; uncle and aunt, Jim and Donna Brown; and multiple cousins. Cremation will be handled by Davis Funeral Home. Donations can be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Feel like I'm doing an essay for my high school english class at the beginning of the year, and to make it more interesting we have to do it from the point of view of something/ somebody other than ourselves. TSo I'll choose the perspective of my dog, Rose.... Well maybe I'll change this to the pov of the dog later. For now though we'll just leave it boring.
I am a female that lives in Las Vegas Nevada. I currently live with my mother, step father, George, and our four dogs, Rose, Neo, Indy, and Suzy. I have a sister who is three years and a week younger than I am who is serving in the army as a MP at Camp Carroll, which is close to Seoul. I have two younger brothers that both live in Ohio with our father. My sister and have different fathers.
I have a genetic lung disease called Cystic Fibrosis (CF), and because of this I am on disability and unable to work at this time. However, I am on the transplant list for a new set of lungs. I can't tell you what a pain in the butt the process of getting this transplant has become.
I like to hang out with friends watching tv, shoot pool, go bowling, go see movies, go to concerts, and have dinner. I also spend my time reading, sewing, playing with the dogs, and doing brain teaser books. I love meeting interesting people, people watching is a sport as far as I'm concerned, and talking to new people who aren't boring is something that I like to do as well. I'm usually up for anything within reason, and that I can do physicaly. Thanks for spending the time reading my little english essay. I hope that I get an A on it.
