About me:

I was born in Seattle, Washington and grew up in a suburb called Renton. I am part of a very close family (and extended family) and had the great opportunity to grow up with some terrific friends as well. One of my favorite pictures is of myself and my new nephew (born February 1, 2006), he is only 3 hours old in the picture. I am going to be his fun and wacky "Auntie Cindy". There is something so rewarding about giving love to a brand new baby and watching their reactions. They really do recognize the light and love surrounding them and coming from people who are in their lives. Alex's eyes light up and he smiles EVERY time he sees me. He is now walking and makes a "beeline" for his Auntie the minute I come into the room!!! He is starting to talk too and watch out!!!
I love getting to know people. I really love to connect with and find out what makes a person who they are. We are all special individuals and have so much to share and it is important to me to have fun and spending time with people. Whether it is a night on the town or a quiet evening at home watching videos, I have will enjoy every moment.
I love travelling - my favorite place would be the Hawaiian Islands (Maui and Kauai are most welcoming to me). I also visited Tahiti in 2005 and found Moorea to be especially welcoming as well. There is something about being there that makes my me feel like I am "home" (and I grew up in Washington). Given the opportunity, I would visit the islands every year to refresh my soul.
