About me:
This is the official Music Department Myspace Page for CILU in Thunder Bay, Ontario Canada. We're a campus and community station broadcasting at just over 100 watts in the wilds of Northwestern Ontario. We can be found on the FM dial in the Thunder Bay area at 102.7. Alternately, we can also be found on the internet at www.luradio.ca which opens our audience up globally.CILU (or 'LU Radio') strives to provide our listeners with a real, viable alternative to the commercial stations dominating the airwaves of Northwestern Ontario, and recognizes that not everyone likes classic rock or top 40 pop music. If you are hoping for airplay, please check out the station a little before sending a request. A little fore-thought goes a long way with us! If you're a 'loud rock' band (metal, punk, hard rock, etc.) and looking for some new friends, hit up The Witchfinder General as he's in charge of all that stuff www.myspace.com/killyouradio is the place to find him.
If you're looking to book shows in town, we are definitely not the people to ask. Head over to the forums at www.tbshows.com and the good people there will be able to help you out!
