    “HOW OLD IS HE?” The question most asked when Lucas is performing. A 16 year old tunesmith, who boasts a roots -inspired soulful voice and skilful percussive guitar style. With his songs described as Roots, Rhythm and Blues, Lucas has been compared to the likes of a young Martin Sexton, John Mayer and Brett Dennan. He has been featured on many stages this year receiving accolades from all, tugging emotions and captivating the audience leaving them wanting more. Recent performances include the Trans Canada Alberta Music Series, Opener for Sam Baker & Gurf Morlix, Tongue on Post Folk Festival..... His first CD “No Loitering” just released, is receiving much attention and airplay province wide. He has gathered a richness and “The end result leaves an honest, heartfelt impression that envelopes the listener like an oversized sweater” says the Cochrane Times.
