Luceys Maze is a 6 piece band from Columbus, OH formed by Michelle Ishida Lucey while in process of writing and recording her newest material. The name was inspired by a trip to AZ where Michelle was captivated by a Tohono O'Odham basket with a beautiful design called the "Man Maze". It is a maze representing your life path and all the unexpected twists and turns it takes while gathering wisdom on the way to this life's end. The end is the center of the circular maze which symbolizes the door to your next life.
The band happened organically after the other members helped and contributed so much during the still-in-process recording of this new material.
Credit and thanks also goes to Jeff Plavcan (bass) and John Messersmith (drums) who played on and co wrote a few of the pieces. Brian Casey and Lillian Gray contributed one song together "Memories Of You" and Brian Casey contributed "Carrie" which you can hear on this site.
