LucIda Tela Is a Progressive/ experimental/ ambient Rock band based out of Littleton CO. Made up of four young men born and raised in the glorious rocky mountains, these talented musicians seek to reflect the love and influence of a high altitude lifestyle through their inspired lips and their fingertips. Although the Name Lucida Tela translates as lucid canvas, you may not experience many lucid moments watching this band live. With an uncommon lyrical depth casting colorful and mellifluous interludes reminiscent of a rainy dawn, you may need a second or third listen to fully absorb the robust compositions. Having been birthed out of the remnants of the progressive rock band Tryst, band members Jesse Vanderhamm, Tyler brigman, and Nathan brigman craved something more that would push their creative minds to the limits of their potential and beyond. After moving into their own home together, much experimentation and contemplation led to the official formation of Lucida Tela. With musical rhythms ranging from fluidic jazz to etheric linear rock, mingled with Ambient Guitar riffs in the likeness of a psychedelic dream, and a harmonious vocal accompaniment showcasing Nathan brigmans crystalline Vocal talents, These three young men began Recording the bands first tracks In their basement studio. With All this talent stewed together in a boiling cauldron of energetic live performance, these four individuals perform music often compare to bands such as Radio Head, Circa Survive, The Mars Volta, Portugal. The Man, As Tall As Lions and many others. With little surprise, These are some of the corner stone influences for Lucida Tela and it shines through. Lucida Tela Plays at just about any venue or house show opportunity that presents itself and immensely enjoys every moment of live performance. These four men have one goal… to capture the eyes and ears of the masses… with the works of their hands and of their hearts.
