This is why we are doing VOX, to be part of the solution for people not having a lot to do around here. So my hero is anyone who supports us and comes to the shows! There is a special section reserved for my volunteers, you guys rock harder than any band!
About me:
Lucid Blue Promo is on a mission to something good for the community we grew up in and improve the qulaity of life for all people... both young and old. We use the Chestnut Center for the Arts in Marshfield, WI to host a series called Vox that features up and coming musicians. We want to bring QUALITY, ORIGINAL entertainment to the central Wisconsin for a change!
Our venue is a old church and is a unique place to throw a concert because it is awesome for acoustic shows, but offers a cool backdrop for rock shows (think about all the things you can't do in church), then think of rocking inside one... Trust us it's fun! This venue is also SMOKE and ALCOHOL FREE (you can go drink after if you want, we are usually done early) allowing it to be accessible to all ages.
We've had some awesome bands come through in the past year we have been doing this, more info about line ups can be found on http://www.lucidbluepromo.com and in our Top 8 as we will change out the bands as they are coming to the area. If you are a band and are looking for a place to play, we might be a place for you! The condition is that you have to write and play your own music. Press kits can be submitted to information found on the website and please include a CD. If you do not haev a Cd, we can arrange an audition time.

hey brian i went ahead and printed those flyers since i saw that polydream had it up as an event for them so i figured it was a for sure go. i have a good feeling about a larger spencer group this week and i dont have to work so i get to come ENJOY it! yay. im trying to get stratford together as well and me and jacob have been passing out CD's left and right. hopefully that will help see you wednesday Trish
