GO TO THE WEBSITE!!! http://lucidculture.wordpress.com
Music
If you're looking to get some press from us for music: please don't send us gratuituous MP3's. Send us a link instead. If we need a cd from you we'll be in touch. Please no emo, no grunge, no corporate pretty-boy rock or Pussycat Dolls type shit.
Movies
Even though we're basically a music blog, we do review the occasional movie. If you want some press for yours, please send us a link, NOT a big humungous graphic file, that probably takes forever to load, that we'll probably just delete.
Television
We don't generally cover tv, but we like youtube videos as much as everybody else...
Books
If you're looking to get some press from us for a book (every now and then we post a book review), we like galleys. Or even a manuscript if publication is a ways away. Please go to the website,
http://lucidculture.wordpress.com for further info.
For other stuff:
Please don't use a bot to send us friend requests. Please get in touch if you have something interesting and worthwhile!
Heroes
The original by Bowie is great but the Wallflowers' version was surprisingly good too.
About me: Welcome to the myspace page for Lucid Culture, http://lucidculture.wordpress.com
Bands - please don't send us gig announcements here, since we only check this once or twice a month. Instead please send us an email at lucidculture [at] gmail.com, thanks!
We've set up this myspace page as an online listening room of sorts to help spread the word about all the good music out there. So you should consider this page permanently under construction: as we find the time, or we discover someone new and really good, we'll add them as a friend. Click on any of them for a treat or a surprise. A lot of the pages for the dead people, the old blues guys, etc. are fansites with really good songs. There's a vastly diverse array of styles here, so if you've just stumbled on this page, it'll give you a good idea of what the website's all about.
Who I'd like to meet: YOU, if you have something fun and/or meaningful to say
