I'm a helpless dancer too, both in terms of the laugher it causes others to exude, and my own abilities carefully nurtured over literally minutes of careful study.

That's why I'm signer in a band...they're my peacock feathers.

Come dance at a gig (walking in the room does qualify for dancing, so don't worry....TOO much)

hi helen,
i'm SO sorry i missed you over the weekend. for starters, my stupid phone has been giving me endless trouble. it dies for a day or so (while appearing to be charged), so i have to leave it for a day or so and then hope it eventually resurrects. usually it does a day or two later. anyway, clearly i didn't go to get loaded. the cost was too much and as dpt were the ONLY band i cared about, i couldn't justify the expense (sorry biggles). spent the weekend w/friend and kids instead. so sorry i wasn't in touch beforehand. i've been ill the past couple weeks and my mind has obviously shrivelled to a raisin as a result. hope you had a fab time!

i don't actually have a ticket for the clapham common dpt extravaganza. damn! i guess instead i'll just sit in my room with my cat (and that's sad enough in itself) watching a hard day's night on a loop all weekend..... AND TAKING THE PISS OUT OF PAUL! ha ha. i just can't help myself when it comes to him ;->
anyway, maybe there are still tix for the clapham thing so i'll check. you're most certainly invited to stay at my 'hotel' whether or not i make it to south london's finest festival. i'll be forever sitting on the stairs with a bowl of popcorn ready to greet you when you come back each day.

it was so lovely to see you friday night and what can top being among 12 people shoved into a room the size of a thimble for 2 hours? hope you enjoyed the rest of your weekend in soggy london. next time you're down let me know well ahead so we can make some plans! i've got some beatles dvds (inclding that one w/the tony-winning pyramus & thisbee production) which we can watch if you so desire. this weekend was insane; i think i've had about 12 hours of sleep since wednesday. my has been repeatedly dropping down onto my keyboard. i'm counting down the mins til i can go home. xx
