Heroes
Aside from my parents who have been through hell & high water, and taught us kids to keep our heads up and our skin tough through anything, I'd say my Uncle Jerry. He's like a second father to me. I look up to him so much, he doesn't even know. He's amazing. And his kids, my cousins, I just admire him and them so much.

I am crazy in love with Bradley Paul and his daughter Lydia. We're super happy together. And even though it took us about 10 years to finally take the steps to actually be with each other, I can say it was well worth the wait. I've never been so completely happy with anyone. He's definitely the best thing that has ever happened to me. I'm thankful everyday that he and Lydia are in my life.
I fould my "happily ever after".
I live a life built on broken dreams and shattered promises.
I love my job. It's not the best paying job, but I love it and I adore most of the people I work with. (even my bossholes)
I'm a puddle jumper. I love splashing in rain puddles.
I love my family. We're a tight-knit bunch of characters.
I'm SUPER scared of grasshoppers.
I clean when I'm angry or upset.
I'm a former Girl Scout.
I hate Christmas music, but I'm no Scrooge or Grinch. I *love* Christmas, it's just the music that bugs me.
I look for the good in everyone.
I cherish the time I get to spend with my friends & family.
I'm a messy eater. My nickname with my family growing up was always "Messy Jessie".
I've been called a "musical encyclopedia".
I am addicted to trivia shows. Mostly the pop culture oriented ones.
I don't approve of pushing your beliefs or religion onto others.
I love to be organized.
I have learned something from almost everyone I've ever met.
I'm a jealous girlfriend, but I'm working on changing that.
I love "nerds", "dorks", and "geeks".
I like to take the time to really get to know people.
I love that I'm not the blonde haired, blue eyed cookie-cutter type of girl.
"It is a funny thing about life; if you refuse to accept anything but the best, you very often get it."

"At some point you have to make a decision. Boundaries don't keep other people out, they fence you in. Life is messy, it's how we're made. So you can waste your life drawing lines, or you can live your life crossing them. Here's what I know, if you're willing to throw caution to the wind and take a chance, the view from the other side is spectacular."

Life's too short to sit around waiting for what you want to come to you. Sometimes you have to make things happen for yourself. That way, when you're looking back on your life, you can say I did everything I could to make the ride awesome.
