NEW BREED BIOGRAPHY
Born January 20.1983 artist Chris Crawford (Dope Boy Rock) hails from Detroit, Michigan known as “The Dirty Glove”.
It all began July 31, 1995 when artist New Breed was introduced to MC Breed a known rapper that started out of Flint, Michigan. MC Breed wasn’t the only artist that inspired Chris Crawford to pursue his lifelong destiny as a superstar. A couple of names are: Bone Thugs ‘n’ Harmony, Coolio, Petey Pablo, Special Ed, and Twista.
By being inspired by these superstars Chris Crawford endured a hard journey at the beginning of his career by being pushed out, never respected, and never acknowledged although he possessed punch lines that no one in a cipher could ever win against him.
In 1999, Chris Crawford was awakened by loud knocks at his lower eastside Detroit apartment, to no avail it was a friend from the beginning of his career that heard a tape of his punch lines from 4 years ago and said “You have to get back in the booth”.
With that being said from 1999 to 2007 Chris Crawford embarked on his journey to show the world he is the real calling of hip-hop. During his journey between 1999 and 2007 he has collaborated with numerous of unknown and known artists.
Never signed to any record label Chris Crawford stayed independent to be known as Detroit’s number one unsigned hood star artist. But now the majors and the street is calling for Chris Crawford to hit the streets with his first national released album “back with hood stripes”.
Chris Crawford has an arsenal of punch lines and trendy hooks with new found friends C.S.S (California Sound Studios) he is bigger, better, and fresher than ever. Chris Crawford is the newest sensation of 2008. He is currently in the process of recording album 2, which is presently untitled.
He has two singles and one album that’s ready to be ready to be released under his own entertainment group. But he has held back from the majors because of recent projects he has begun with hip-hop sensations. Chris Crawford recently started an entertainment company and built from the ground up. He wishes to partner with the majors to prove he has the talent, the look, and most of all the voice.
