We are now joined by James, excellent young up-coming doghouse bass player,(just putting up with us is a great job!!!)............................................................ ......................Cast Iron Arm Pete on Drums, pork pies (nothing green please) & a '65 Cortina Estate with V8 engine and kitted out for drag-racing - yeh, he races in drag !!! ......................................................... .................Dave (DT) on lead guitar & harmonica, singer abuse, and of course, a Triumph Bonneville....................................... Our lifestyle is rock 'n roll,motorbikes, live hard & die young. We just forgot to die young - apart from James, who is young!

We play all the popular rock n roll from the fifties inc. Gene Vincent, Chuck Berry, Bill Haley, Carl Perkins, Elvis, even Cliff !!! Eddie Cochran, Buddy Holly, Billy Fury, Johnny Burnette, Johnny Horton, Johnny Kidd & the Pirates, Johnny & the Jailbirds, (in fact, I suppose, anybody with the name Johnny) plus lots of more obscure rockabilly, and some Stray Cat stuff............... Favourite modern bands include Lee Rocker & Hillbilly Moon Explosion, Robert Gordon, Johnny & the Jailbirds & Doomsday Rockers.

Lucky Strike was formed in 1997, and has been going strong ever since. We mostly like to play around the Sussex , Surrey & London areas........... When we feel like it, we travel further afield, and did a tour of Netherlands a couple of years back inc. Caddys Diner, Malo Melo Club, Amsterdam & Cafe T'Kroeg,Geldrop........We have released 4 CD's now including a 2007 live one from our local regular venue the Royal Sovereign, Eastbourne (not a brilliant recording but audience comments are interesting !!)........................................................

WELL SORRY GUYS, THATS IT !!!! -- DECEMBER 2009 AFTER 11 YEARS WE HAVE DECIDED TO CALL IT A DAY. OUR LAST GIG IS DEC 5 AT ROYAL SOVEREIGN EASTBOURNE --- SO NOTHING AFTER THAT --- WE WANT TO GIVE A BIG THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO HAS SUPPORTED US AND ENJOYED OUR MUSIC OVER THOSE YEARS - IT'S BEEN GREAT - WE JUST NEED TO MOVE ON TO OTHER THINGS NOW - END OF A BLOODY GOOD ERA!
