Born in Rome the 12th of September 1970 L. de Seta starts to study classical percussion and drumset in 1982. At the same time begins to play in several rock and jazz bands of the roman musical scene.
His first professional experiences include several international Tours executing the great Musical West Side Story by L. Bernstein, the Dreigroschenoper by B.Brecht with live original music by K.Weill, Cats by A.L.Webber, Romeo and Juliet by W. Shakespeare, and the Antigone by Sofocles
In his formative years he attends master-classes by Vinnie Colaiuta, Dave Weckl, Dennis Chambers, Peter Erskine, Hal Blaine, William Kennedy, Tony Verderosa, Tony Oxley, Trilok Gurtu, among others. In 1991 Lucrezio is accepted at the DRUMMERS COLLECTIVE school in New York, where he moves to for a period of one year during wich he has the opportunity to play in jazz- and latin-ensembles. Studies with: Marvin Smith, Kim Plainfield, Duduca da Fonseca, Michael Lauren, Pete Zeldman, Ricky Sebastian, Mike Clark, Frankie Malabe, Bobby Sanabria, Bob Weiner and Brian Doherty.

As an educator Lucrezio presents and assists drumming Greats such as David Garibaldi, Virgil Donati, Akira Jimbo, Kim Plainfield and Pete Zeldman in their italian Clinic tours. He holds a monthly lesson on technique on the drumming magazine Percussioni for two years and publishes his Minus One Drum Method (Bemolle edizioni) Based on the music by Fusion Trio Virtual Dream and in 2003 he takes part to the 1st Italian Drummers Convention sponsored by Drummers United appearing on their DVD Tempi Moderni (Carish).
Lucrezio has composed orignal music for commercials and spots by NikeFootball.com, Monte dei Paschi di Siena, Consorzio Olii Usati, Ministero per lo Sviluppo among others.
