Lucy started her musical career after being signed up with Si Paul Management in 2005 & her work has gone onwards and upwards & has been published with Hookline & Singer through Notting Hill. She has pitched work for artists such as Robbie Rivera, Chris Lake, Armada & Kidology & has been successful with releases starting in 2007.
Having had radio airplay on Judge Jules' & Kutski's Radio 1 shows, Kiss 100, Miss Monneypennys and more, her music is spreading across the nation & beyond. She sung & co wrote the brand for track Kinky Malinki & She has since then been working on the LIVE PA circuit across the club since including appearances at Pacha, London, The Honey Cub, SIN, Mango & Luminar, amongst others as well as taking part in a Live PA set at 2 major festivals. She displays her work in a friendly, confident, artistic & professional manner and she is known for her positive attitude when it comes to networking and promoting her own material. In the last 2 years, she has been working hard on writing and recording her own work alongside producers from all genres from Funky House to Electro, Trance, Hard Dance, Hardcore & even DnB. She displays an equal love for all the music she writes & sings and has proved herself to be flexible with her vocals enabling her to work for a large variety of artists. Her work has led to her being featured on the acclaimed Acappella Heaven web site which promotes toplines written by the Singer/Songwriters, to producers worldwide (www.acapellaheaven.co.uk).
She has recieved some good feedback including this piece from a gig in London: " Just after midnight we were introduced to a lady I can only describe as a simply superb! The crowd reaction was brilliant and said it all. Everyone really warmed to her and Lucy kept them enthralled right to the end of a superlative and professional performance. A delicious vocal talent coupled with effortless ability."
After working with the Eyereel Allstars, they have, between them had a track signed ( ‘Get It On’) to Strictly Rhythm in 2008 which went onto several Hed Kandi albums both here and in the US,with it doing well on the the Billboard dance charts & receiving airplay all over America! This is amongst a string of strong tracks they have worked on together.
Work with Ted Nilsson led to success with Miss Monneypenny's signing 2 of their tracks and an invite to sing for them at El Divino, Ibiza, in 2008. Another track,'Changes' with Jonze is now included on three of their albums.
Also working on a few tracks with the upcoming solo electro act 'Audioglitch' who is Thomas Madsen - better known to the record-buying public as one half of norwegian hard dance act 'Adrenaline Dept.' He now lowers the bpm and goes back to his roots of house music plus adding a twist of todays gritty electro sound, & one of these tracks has been signed to D' Amour Recordings. The harder side of Thomas' work (Adrenaline Dept|) has also presented them both with 2 releases this year with a play by Kutski on his Radio 1 show.
Some new work with Romanian Artists Hy2rogen & Fr3cky in New York, on the Trance/Electro scene has turned into an exciting multi track venture, and they have their work being supported By ROTON, who are one of the largest labels in Romania, with their debut release end of 2009.
Having been given the opportunity to sing with House/Electro act Roastgroove over in Russia & London for gigs in mid 2008, she was also invited to join them at SW4 2008.
2009 has been a busy time in the studio for Lucy, where it seems that perhaps things have been a bit quiet on the PA scene, she has more than made up for this with her hard work and making sure her name is constantly developing on the various dance scenes.
Recent work with Electrik Shandy has been paying off and many Hard Dance producers now fancy a bit of the action.The Hard Dance side of things has been going well this year with releases from Precence Recordings, Digital Creation,& Impact Recordings.
As usual, keeping on top of the current trends, Lucy has been pumping away with the Electro and House side of things with releases already out and to follow, with Andy Duguid, Hy2rogen & Fr3cky,The Kat Knapperz, Ian Round, Metrogroove Records, and a few to name coming along in the next few months.
On the Trance/Hard Trance side of things, she has been working with artists such as Avatar One, Pierre Pienaar, Ringleader Interplanetary Productions, Liquid Vision & Peak Love.
Not one to shy away from any style, this year has also been good for Hardcore with a successful track released on All Around The World with Styles & Breeze. Her work even reached as far as Australia with a track with Yoshi. Forthcoming work with Klubfiller is looking to keep those fans happy who prefer the harder side of things, but whatever your taste, Lucy is sure to have something for everyone and remains happy doing what she loves best-entertaining those around her!!
With regular releases throughout the year, Lucy is continuing to show her individual techniques with her abilities to adapt to any style of music she is presented with, and as you can see from the releases over the past few months, she is showing no signs of slowing down any time soon and is looking forward to many more releases and live work in the next year!!
