Bio:

lucysbrownseville is detroit rock and soul,heavily influenced by motown/stax recording artists/70's rock,pulling influence from the likes of otis redding,the temptations,sly and the family stone, the rolling stones and many others. lucysbrownseville has performed at most of the notable venues/festivals in and around detroit and the state,headlining their own shows with support from some great local bands/musicians,to opening for national acts at larger venues. the group is made up of marcus christy on lead vocals/guitar/keys,rebekah hopper on lead vocals/backing vocals,paul winterhalter on drums/percussion/vocals,joey nestico on lead guitar and brendan robinson on bass guitar.the band is occasionally joined by other local guest musicians on stage. currently recording a full length 10/12 song cd,a follow up to their ep/demo,the band hopes to have it completed by fall 2010 .. .. ..
