OUR FIRST CUBISM RELEASE IS OUT TODAY - TONY THOMAS - DOUBLE T - Check it out at http://www.djdownload.com/labels/Cubism/4474
Our first Cubism release is an exclusive electronic track from dance music legend - Tony Thomas. The Original Double T is a tough yet funk fuelled track, totally signature to Tony’s bouncy tech house sound. As the groove starts to roll you realise this is no run of the mill record, taking you on a journey of rolling beats and hip shaking bass. A true terrace anthem, this is a perfect summertime roller, guaranteed to get any party moving and shaking. Next on the package is a man who has made massive waves across the dance music scene in a very short space of time – Mark Sun. With his debut EP - Dawn light picked by Fergie to be his Radio 1 'One for one music track of the week', and going on to rave reviews from clubbing tastemakers like DJ Mag (4/5 stars) and One Week To Live (5.5/7), it’s clear to see that this lad’s got talent by the bucket load. Mark's remix injects drama and emotion into the gritty tech house sound - allowing glitchy percussion to sit side by side with a light and airy breakdown that even Vangelis would be proud of. Next up label partner Richard Belsom delivers a deep techy feast. Deep and chunky bass line, chopped glitchy vocals, and old school acidic synth’s and stabs layered to perfection in this dance floor filler. Last but by no means least, Lunacy Sound Division main man and label partner Mark Gwinnett adopts a different approach from his usual tech house style and delivers a rolling funky break beat version, and show’s us why he’s gained recent support from such greats as Carl Cox, Nathan Coles, Rob Pearson, Mastik Soul etc.
