Bio
Ludlow Station, from North Western New Jersey, is primarily an all original instrumental quartet made up of Bass, Drums, Guitar, and Organ. Ludlow also incorporates the Human Voice and Saxophone while leaving room for improvisation. Ludlow Station's musical style doesn't fit into one musical genre, but is more a concoction of Rock, Jazz, Blues, and Funk styles. Chris Rakow on Guitar, Braden Gillum on Bass, and Mike Panella on Vintage Keyboards, have been playing music together since their middle school days in the mid 1990's. Steve Farrell on Drums, joined the band in 1998, towards the end of the high school years, though Mike and Steve had already been introduced as 3 and 4 year olds in the mid 1980's. Shortly after the turn of the century. Bill Tortoriello on Vocals and Pat Suter on Saxophone became present at the bands' performances to date. Ludlow Station as its own collective musical entity has been and will be a longterm passion for all the friends involved. Enjoy the music and we'll see you in the future! -
