Luis Cano
(Barcelona 1978)
With degrees in classical piano and music teaching (EMT Conservatory of Music, Oviedo, Spain/UAM University, Madrid, Spain), Production and Performance (LCCM London, UK), the multi- instrumentalist and composer Luis Cano currently lives in London where continues his professional development as teacher (this times within the area of SEN) and performer with different bands like “The One Nation” and “The Interpreters” (with the guitarist Michael Rodwell and th singer/songwriter Alex Smith, Number One in Australia with the band “Moving Pictures” in the 80’s).
In Spain Luis worked as teacher of Music and Movement, Reading, Contemporary Music Performance and Music Theory in the EMM of Rivas (Rivas-Vaciamadrid, Spain) between 2000 and 2006 playing with great professionals such as: Joaquin Anaya, Txema Carinena, Juani Zapata and many more….
In London Luis has played with artists such as Pee Wee Ellis and Fred Wesley from the JBs , Toby Baker (BB King and Spice Girls), Sid Gauld (Incognito), etc During his production studies he received lessons from names such as Marcia Escoffery (Stevie Wonder) and Pete Zeldman (Jaco Pastorius)

Titulado tanto en piano clasico y magisterio musical (Conservatorio Superior de Musica EMT de Oviedo/ Universidad Autonoma de Madrid), como en Produccion Musical y Performance (London Centre of Contemporary Music), el multiinstrumentista y compositor Luis Cano reside actualmente en Londres donde sigue compaginando su labor docente (en esta occasion centrado en alumnos y alumnas de Educacion Especial) con actuaciones y trabajos con diversas formaciones entre las que destacan “The One Nation” y “The Interpreters” (junto a Michael Rodwell y Alex Smith –Numero uno en Australia con “Moving Pictures”).
En Espana Luis Cano trabajo como profesor de Musica y Movimiento, Lenguaje Musical y Musica Moderna de la EMM de Rivas Vaciamadrid entre los anos 2000/2006 tocando junto a los maestros Joaquin Anaya, Txema Carinena, y Juani Zapata entre otros.
En Londres Luis ha tocado con artistas del calibre de Pee Wee Ellis y Fred Wesley (James Brown), Toby Baker (B.B King, Spice Girls) y Sid Gauld (Incognito). Durante sus estudios de Produccion y Performance ha recibido lecciones a cargo de nombres como Marcia Escoffery (Stevie Wonder) y Pete Zeldman (Jaco Pastorius).
