50-50 - Curious tune..this is what I did...I came to the studio and recorded the first guitar in a free improvisation...then...I swear it's true, I recorded the second guitar without earing the first one. I was listening to the first guitar in real time and recording at the same time. Fabulous experience.

The Master
I've been a pro musician for the last 20 years now. I played with hundreds of amazing musicians and because I don't want to miss no one I'll not say their names. They know who they are, that's the most important. Frank Zappa woke me up for music in the year of 1975 in his Roxy & Elsewhere album. Thanks for everything Frank. Since then I've been working in my music and teaching whoever needs and wants my help and my friendship. My main instrument is the guitar but I also play the flugelhorn, the bass and a little of drums. But most of all I am a composer.
I would like to remember some of the bands who I played till now - Viseu Jazz Quintet, Jam Jazz Group, Luís Lapa Quartet,Tira Ke Dói, Mr. Funk, Oporto Jazz Orchestra, Oporto Jazz Septet, Opium, Trilhos, Luís Lapa & Corpo de Intervenção, Puzzle Trio, Rachim Ausar Sahu's Flying Kitchen, Pro D'Ut, Luís Lapa & Acoustic Line, The Blues Jammers and more recently Luís Lapa & T4, Francisco Reis and Acácio Salero Secret Apache. AND LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST MY ALL TIME DREAM CAME TRUE...I'M PLAYING THE MUSIC OF FRANK ZAPPA IN THE LBRK..LOW BUDGET RESEARCH KITCHEN...WHAT A BAND AND WHAT A MUSICIANS!!! YOU MUST LISTEN TO THIS BAND...AND i'M NOT JOKING!!!

Desculpa estive uns dias fora e só agora pude responder. Muito obrigado por visitares o meu myspace e pelo comentário. A maior parte daquilo q lá está são excertos de jam sessions com músicos de todo o mundo através do software NINJAM (procura no google, vale a pena investigar). Para mim foi a oportunidade de ir saindo da casca... :) Volta e meia vou pondo coisas novas. Espero q um dia nos possamos encontrar virtual ou realmente :) Entretanto vou passando por aqui p ouvir coisas boas. Um grande abraço! jonazz
Vi-o uma vez ao vivo no teatro viriato em Viseu, com o Carlos Peninha, nas Quartas de Jazz. gostei muito do que ouvi e vi, mas infelizmente as coisas por estes lados são pouco divulgadas e perdem-se grandes concertos, como foi o caso de quem não esteve presente no teatro. Espero em breve voltar a ter a oportunidade de o ver!
