Luke and Drew is an indie pop-folk duo fronted by Luke Goddard and Drew Watkins. Their music has been described as, “reminiscent of springtime, flowers, and sunshine.” The two have received an enormous amount of attention online by way of a YouTube video. In July of 2008, Luke asked Drew to marry him by a big Oak tree in St. Simons Island, GA. The best part: he was able to capture it all on his video camera. The video was quickly edited and thrown on YouTube for the whole world to see. Thousands of views later, Luke and Drew went into the Wash House, a studio in Nashville, TN, to record their debut album, entitled, “Our Own Little World.” “Our Own Little World” was produced by the Tennessean singer/songwriter, Arthur Alligood, and released by Homemade Genius Productions, an independent record label out of Greenwood, South Carolina. The CD is packaged in a digihub with a four-page booklet featuring artwork by Drew herself!
