About Luke Jones

Luke was born in Hanover (Germany), during the first part of his childhood he was brought up on a British army based in Bergen, Honne but moved to a seaside town on the south coast of Dorset (UK) at the age of 10. Luke began to write songs at the age of 17 finding inspiration from a number of American based artists including Neil Young and REM. He soon developed a desperation to leave his new home due of financial struggles and frustrations with living in a small town, he eventually found his way to Brighton (UK). This move only enhanced his musical inspiration and expression. His passion for music was originally instilled upon him by his father at an early age, as it was a major feature within family life, this helped him significantly with the creation of his unique and powerful sound.

Luke's songs are gaining an ever-growing fan base. He is a performer who focuses on bringing together an eclectic mix of well chosen influences - from New York based singer songwriter Jesse Malin to the legendary Bob Dylan - to create a sound which has originality and purpose.

Luke has just finished recording his first mini album, "All Reflections, Some Dreams". He is hoping to release the album before the end of 2009.
