Luke Menard started singing when he was a freshman in high school. He always enjoyed listening to the sounds of a cappella groups such as Take 6 and Rockapella, but never imagined he would be making those sounds for a living.
He played the violin for 6 years as a child and now that he sings a cappella, he only imitates with his voice what a violin might sound like. It was great training.
He enjoys traveling with his group, Chapter 6, throughout the year. Luke has been married for 4 years to his beautiful wife Lara, who can be seen performing at theatres across the country throughout the year as well as with the Radio City Rockettes during the Christmas season.
Luke was recently chosen as one of the Top 24 finalists on Season 7 of American Idol, and can be seen performing on the show weekly on Fox.
