Hello, my name is Luke I am a singer/songwriter … I have changed a lot in the last few years , and obviously that has seeped into who I am as a musician My views on life politics, religion have all really become a huge part of the songs I write. See I never really considered myself a song writer in years past , I guess I never had the confidence to consider myself as so , but with change growth happens. I use to play in a Band one of those bands where we were so confident that we were going to make “it” whatever “it” is. and as far as “indie” bands go we did pretty good. I can remember people approaching me to say “your guys song …has really touched my life.” … Its funny cause looking back helping people was not my deepest concern. its was playing bigger shows and getting paid so we could print more merch and so on and so forth.and with that focus I couldn’t appreciate how Golden those words were. Like I said I have changed and now see the value in such words of kindness from people who have seen me play and had the courage to say” your words have touched my life”.. Now I can and do consider myself a songwriter and I am very intentional about the songs I write . Hoping again one day I can hear about how these words have created change or at least encouraged someone to make it through the day. these are my songs.. I can only hope you can stop and listen for a moment . blessings
hey buddy. things have been terribly busy. so sorry for not getting back to you sooner. i would love to do coffee or beer or whatever. we're leaving for the east coast on monday for a month or so... so maybe when we get back and a little more settled in.
