Lull are a Los Angeles-based rock trio that deliver intelligent music with powerful riffs, infectious melodic hooks and thoughtful, introspective lyrics. While Lull draw inspiration from influences like Led Zeppelin, Rush, Tool and Stone Temple Pilots they manage to deliver a sound that is truly their own.
Guitars and lead vocals are handled by Jeff Mallow. Aside from playing with Lull, Mallow has shared stage and studio with many artists in Los Angeles, the most noteworthy being Serj Tankian, lead singer of System Of A Down, with whom Jeff has toured throughout Europe and Australia. Barney Brehmer holds down the low end on bass guitars and covers background vocals. He and Mallow played together for several years in different bands before forming Lull. Drums are played by Scott Schneider, formerly of the band Grey Haven.
Lull have been playing in and around Los Angeles at such renowned venues as The Viper Room and The Derby. They are currently booking shows for 2009.
All Peples Christian Center (apcc) is a non profit 501 (c) 3 that provides and after-school porgram 1st to 12th grade and self-help programs to all the community of Los Angeles. It has been here in Los angeles since 1942 and holds a lot of history in its community. I am doing this fundraiser to support its mission statement and to keep it around for another 60 years.
