In February 2008 a petition was started to illustrate the desire of Lulu fans for Lulu to be appreciated for her life-long commitment to the entertainment industry!
For over 40 years Lulu has contributed to the Music and Entertainment Industry.
She has been, and remains to be, globally successful, and continually received praise in her profession. She has been recognised for her work and achievements in the past, but she has yet to be recognised by her peers.
She has yet to reach the pinnacle of her musical career and continues to excel herself with every performance. Her fans and those who appreciate her music believe that it is now time for Lulu to be given an Outstanding Contribution Award at the 2009 Brit Awards in recognition of her accomplishments.
