Lulu Gals was born at the Monday Night Square Dance, a Twin Cities institution, in April of 2006. Collectively, the three of us have been playing old time music for over 70 years. There are many years of hoofing in our history too, Shawn and Sarah are both cloggers, and Lisa has been square dancing since the 1970's. We're delighted to be part of the old-time community, both in Minnesota and beyond.
In addition to the three of us, Meghan Dudle and Julie Young are our Lulu sisters, joining us on as many gigs as we can drag them into.
Check out our bona-fide website: www.lulugals.com, for more information, gigs, photos, music and lots of cool links.
Hi Shawn, Thanks for the add! That's my kinda sound, gals! Hope they hire you at Hiawatha Fest! From the fiddler/batik artist who's keeping the old time tunes alive and well in northern WI.
Hi Ladies! Nice music... I cant believe I've never heard you live... now that I'm your myspace buddy I'll keep an eye out for upcoming gigs : )... or you can just tell me :)
Thanks for coming out to see us on Saturday. It was great chatting with ya'! We are looking forward to seeing you all again. Maybe this time Alyssa and I can try a little clogging!
