    When I'm not creating cakes or making sweets I enjoy spending time with my friends, cruising, concerts, sunning and walking on the beach, dancing, listening to good music, good chocolate, a good glass of wine and cooking good food to make the ones I love SMILE....but most of all, I love spending time with my husband, Paul :)

  • Music

    My moods dictate what music I listen to......I love classic rock, metal, contemporary country, contemporary Christian. My favorite bands are Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin, Peter Frampton, The Eagles, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Aerosmith.

  • Movies

    I'm just a classic southern girl and still believe you can't beat "Gone with the Wind".....fiddle-dee-dee. I also like funny movies. I don't watch scary or gory movies and I hate movies with sad endings. I only want to watch movies that make me laugh or leave me with a good feeling when it's over. I love laughing~ I enjoy action or "who done'it" movies also!

    I'm hardly at home enough to watch TV, but when I do I usually have it set on "Food Network" or country music videos.

    I love cook books. I have tons of them. It is an obsession of mine.

About me:

Hi.......I'm LuLu (Louise McInnis Formby), owner of a little sweet shop called LULU'S SWEET EXPECTATIONS, in Port St. Joe, Florida. "LULU'S" is an old fashioned candy/bakery/ice cream/coffee shop. After more than 20 years of working in various accounting positions, I took a leap of faith and left my day-job to start my own business doing what I always loved...making homemade candies and sweets. I opened "LULU'S SWEET EXPECTATIONS" on November 29, 2005, in the Port City Shopping Center (between Piggly Wiggly and Movie Gallery). A few things I have at LULU'S SWEET EXPECTATIONS: 20+ Flavors of FUDGE made right in my store (see pictures of "good stuff at LuLu's"), a GOURMET ESPRESSO-BASED COFFEE BAR, HAND-DIPPED ICE CREAM, FROZEN FRUIT SMOOTHIES, Hundreds of varieties of BULK CANDY, my own hand made chocolates including "BARNICLES" (my version of the giant pecan "TURTLE" candies....also made with peanuts and cashews...then topped with my fudge...YUMMY!!!), New Orlean's style PECAN PRALINES (plain and chocolate), FRESH BAKED GOODIES, including WEDDING CAKES and All OCCASION CAKES (Be sure to check out the pictures of my wedding cakes while you are here).
