About me:
Don't disregard my fancy liner notes
located in the right pocket of my coat
They're there for a reason, you see...
to elaborate on my prior destiny
Oh, I always was one to market myself
Although too impatient to reside on a shelf
Waiting for others to come around
results in opportunities never being found.
************************************************************************ My name is Danielle. Here is some info that could be considered "About Me"! :0 I have many interests. Every once in a while, something (or someone) jumps out at me that I just HAVE to know more about, and under those circumstances, usually I end up becoming a bit TOO enthralled with he/she/it/them. But it's not a problem to me, I find it quite favorable. Of course, there are some exceptions. How good or bad my day is normally has nothing to do with what happens in the course of it; it depends on what my thoughts are and whether they are positive or negative. I love to travel and see new places. I'd rather spend my money on experiences than material items. I'm not a very impressionable person, so if you're looking for someone who you can mold to fit your own ideas and expectations, I'm not the person for you. Only if I really LOVE you, will you be able to influence my personality in a somewhat noticeable amount. Hah. I love meeting new people. Sometimes I think that the true reason behind this is due to my being unsatisfied with the current relations I have with those around me [for the most part; I also have some really awesome friends as well], and sometimes I think it's just because people fascinate me so. I guess that both are true to an extent. If you are a spongy person, chances are I will look down on you, although I might never outright disclose that personally. There are some exceptions to this as well. I really appreciate people who stand for what they believe in and are who they feel right being, despite all that is surrounding them or whether their opinions clash with the peoples' around them. There is a difference between me being your friend, and actually liking your personality, unfortunately. I can name a lot of people who I like and who I'm friends with because they're nice and we get along, but whose personalities I don't favor much. It's rare that I can find someone who I genuinely enjoy spending extensive one-on-one time with and who I really connect with. I often seem to be searching for ideal people, but they're hard to come by. Actually I'm quite the idealist by nature, but I also try my hardest not to take things for granted. I suppose that we all do at times, though. Recently, I've gained more control of my life and somewhat "perfected" it, so I'm trying to not get used to it and become unhappy again. Hm, what else to say? Well, I guess I should take note of the fact that I'm very openminded to all types of things and people. If you don't fit my opinions or lifestyle, it's okay because I'll still probably not have a problem with you. Even if you are something on the controversial side, such as a pedophile or a nazi for example, I still probably won't be detered from conversing with you, however odd that may sound to some people. [I am not supportive of pedophilia or nazism; I merely used those examples to make a point. Hahah.] And yes, conversing, that's one thing that I love. If you are a good conversationalist, many props to you. Better yet, if you have a good sense of humor. But that's a commonly desired trait for many people, it seems. Oh and one last thing, about myspace friends: Nowadays I don't have any reason as to why I have this many friends on here other than people adding me, so I add them back and then they don't talk to me (>:O)... And I've been too lazy to take them off. But yeah, I really don't just add any random person. If I know you in person and we're on good terms, I will add you, or if I find you online and you seem really interesting and I actually DO want to talk to you. ^^ Anybody who wants to get to know me, feel free to add me. I just will take people off if they are on here for a while and we never end up talking.
