    For the past 10 years, Lumpz One has continued to amaze music fans with his original sound, relative content, distinctive voice, and incredible performance. His musical background is deeply rooted in NM, through his family who has been performing since the early 1940's, and his style of music is sure to be one in it's own league. Lumpz One was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM and his music represents his home perfectly with a South Western sound, acoustic guitars, funk influenced bass lines, and heavy hitting drum patterns that always aim to intensify whichever song he is showing you. His music has influenced his local hip hop community while at the same time entertained many audiences through-out the SW.  As an independent artist, Lumpz has accomplished much by himself with out the assistance of labels, or management teams. At only 17, he had his first consignment deal with The L.A. Underground, a local hip hop shop based out of CA but located in NM, and was already known by many hip hop night club goers because of his featured appearances in freestyle battles and performances with "Questionable Ethics", a live hip hop band that he was shortly a part of. He then formed a duo with Dice Dastardly called, "Aphro-can Burritoez", and they recorded but never released a short ep called, "Food For Thought". Although his 2 groups had split up, he didn't let this stop him from growing as an artist, and learning more as a business man. Lumpz One linked up with Q! (RIP) in Albuquerque, NM where artist such as Sleep, Spice One, and Killah Priest had been recorded by. He recorded his first full LP called, "Blunt of Roaches" in 2005 later releasing it side by side with his 2008 release, "Phungi Muzack", which locally was a big hit amongst the Albuquerque hip hop fans. He then had the shocking news that Q! had passed away not too long after his release of the 2 projects, and he then took time to learn how to run his own private studio called, "Silence to Sound Laboratories". His next few projects were given out as promotion cd's and his next and latest album, "The Insomniac Hour Vol1", has already made a lot of local noise. Planning his very first summer of tours, Lumpz One is sure to rise as both an artist, and entrepreneur.
