Music
I have pretty eclectic tastes, depending on my mood, and I often mix it all together. For an example, here are some of the songs currently on my zune playlist
If I was your vampire - Marilyn Manson
What I've Done - Linkin Park
The Kill - 30 Seconds to Mars
Through Glass - Stone Sour
God is a DJ - Faithless
Cupid's Chokehold - Gym Class Heroes
Promiscuous - Nelly Furtado & Timbaland
Lips of an Angel - Hinder
Pain - Jimmy Eat World
Come Clean - Hilary Duff
Be Like That - 3 Floors Down
Leave the Pieces - the Wreckers
I also listen to a lot of Japanese, Spanish, and Portoguese music. I usually only catch a word or two, but I like it.
Movies
The Incredibles, Fantastic Four, Iron Man, the New Incredible Hulk movie (not the old one, I like to pretend that the old one doesn't exist), the Spiderman movies, hmm, see a trend? ;) Of course I liked standard geeky things like the Matrix and Lord of the Rings as well, and the "best" movie last year IMO was "August Rush", probably just because of the fantastic soundtrack. Surprisingly, I am "not" a fan of the Star Wars movies. I do like scifi, but the Star Wars movies were a little too oriented towards children and I like "actual" scifi (Star Trek, Stargate, etc). One thing women never quite believe is that since I'll watch pretty much any movie, that means I like romantic "girly" movies too. In fact, I enjoy just about any movie, though if its "based" on a true story or basically too realistic, I don't tend to care for it... What with the 10 bucks a ticket at the movie theatres I have refined my viewing tastes just a bit, now I prefer only special effect movies at the theatres, unless its particularly awesome. ;)
Television
Smallville, Supernatural, Heroes, Lost, CSI Vegas. I haven't been watching much tv anymore, though I do watch a lot of tv on DVD. I just started getting into Dead Like Me via Netflix Instant Watch, very quirky, good show.
Books
I absolutely love Patricia Briggs, I think her ability to describe her world is fantastic. Laurell K. Hamilton is also fantastic, I've been reading all of the Anita Blake books, only a few left. Anything also by Elaine Cunningham, Piers Anthony. I've loved the Wheel of Time books (Robert Jordan). I used to be a big fan of Stephen King, but in the past few years I haven't really sunk my teeth into anything he's done.
Heroes
my father. He's made a tremendous amount of mistakes in his life, but I still have a huge amount of respect for him and his wisdom.
I write short stories and the storyline behind dndorks.com, I develop website applications, and in
general try to "create" things. I'm an analytical person most of the time though occasionally a burst of
passion escapes here and there. ;) I dislike extremes, I get grumpy if I'm too mental and agitated if too
physical. My perfect weekend involves driving out to Zion canyon early in the morning, hiking around until
the afternoon, driving home, showering and taking a nap, then having a great dinner and snuggling in with a
book or having a great conversation about pretty much anything
I was born and mostly raised in Las Vegas, as were my parents, as were most of my grandparents. I think
this gives me a pretty interesting perspective compared to a lot of people, especially in Vegas.
I write and color dndorks.com while my great friend Jason illustrates it. I also run
topwebcomics.com
Who I'd like to meet:
Kristen Kreuk! j/k (sorta) ;) Actually anyone from the Smallville cast. Anyone from the Heroes cast would be cool too, as its grown on me this past season.
On a more serious note, I think it would be awesome to meet Scott Guthrie, him and the Microsoft ASP.NET team have been working wonders, and without their efforts my job would be boring and/or much more difficult. Yes, I am that much of a geek. ^_^
Piers Anthony would be awesome to meet too, I'm a big fan of his books, especially his older sci-fi stuff, but really anything he has written. Robert Jordan would have beeen fantastic to meet too before he lost his battle with his illness. :(

I LOVE the new background, especially the network status box thingy! This is the first time I've really looked at all the characters and who they play. I like how their characters all look like themselves, heh.
