About me: Announcing the First Annual Luna Fest ATX taking place May 3rd 11AM-2AM at The United States Art Authority
building nestled next to, and owned by Spider House.
The creators of Sol Fest ATX, by popular demand, now bring you Luna Fest ATX.
Built on the same premise of being an all inclusive and all encompassing event, this platform
brings together some of Austin's finest visual artists, dancers, cabaret performers, fashionistas, and
musicians of different genres. Luna Fest creates a multi-media atmosphere of the interactive type.
Naturally falling in the Dadaist tradition of artistic free thinking and international perspective,
Luna Fest dedicates itself to bridging differences in an informal gala and entertainment setting.
The evening will begin with the presentation of diverse visual art to a live music background.
Many artists of diverse mediums and influences present their pieces individually and collectively;
consequently, with their art becoming a part of the whole event layout.
The night of this Midtown extravaganza provided by Spider House will continue with the sultry cabaret
performances of some of Austin's most gorgeous women, to the musical prowess of some of Austin's
best bands. Electronica, Funk, Rock, Jazz are just some examples of variations within, and are sure
to create an optimal aesthetic experience.
We would like to take this moment to invite everyone to be a part of this pivitol event. If you are an
artist of any type, and would like to be considered please contact Johnny Ramirez(512-576-6977)
Stephanie Cerame (512-736-8719), or Deanna Brochin (512-589-8643)
Also we will be accepting sponsorship proposals with the intention of benefiting different causes as a way to
give back to the community. Your participation as an individual or as a sponsor will ultimately
support what defines Austin as an arts & culture town.

The Rag Blog and South Austin Pictures present a screening of "God
Thinks You're a Loser," a perverse comedy from Austin director Gary
Chason, at The Independent in the 501 Studio Complex, 8 p.m., Thursday,
August 27, 2009, 501 E. 5th at I-35 in Austin, Texas (entrance on
Brushy Street, one block east of I-35).
A donation of $10 is suggested, with proceeds benefiting The Rag Blog,
a progressive internet news magazine based in Austin. There will be a
cash bar.
According to Chason, "God Thinks You're a Loser" is "a zany comedy
about strippers and oil men" with "plenty of kinky sex, drugs, and the
reckless pursuit of sensual pleasure." But in the end, those who hurt
others must answer for their actions.
Much of the film takes place in Hell.
A live discussion with director Gary Chason and star Sue Rock will follow the screening.

I am in Round Two of The TRCoA Unsigned Artist Competition. Help me get to Round Three by clicking my face and voting for me!
If I’m in the top 4 I get to play a showcase for record executives and could win 100 free hours in the studio.
If I were selected, it would really help me rock some faces off, please take a second and vote.
Thanks!
