As I listen to whatever song she whispers in my ear, whatever divine impulse flashes within at any given time, I am perpetually and eclectically creatively engaged.
It makes for a very interesting existence, for which I am truly thankful.
My eclectic nature spills over to my songwriting and vocal style. As the daughter of a jazz trumpet player and an artist, I was blessed to have varied artistic influences from an early age. I tend to "paint" with my voice, using the many varied hues in my palette.
My current projects, each different in style and vibe, will give you a taste of that musical multiplicity.
I have had the pleasure of writing with some very talented musicians. Each artist brings their own flavor into the mix, inspiring me to stretch my creative wings in different directions...
The interaction between different creative forces can have a kaleidoscopic effect...
the colors constantly change; no two "patterns" are ever the same...
the possibilities are endless...
Exploring and pushing the limits is the challenge I crave... and I enjoy working with musicians who have a passion for the same... sharing music and creativity with honesty and professionalism.
