NEWS FLASH! Important notice for all my clients:
Sarah has moved all her business to Pure Botanicals in Newtown, where she has been working from for four years. For anyone who is accustomed to seeing her at Phoenix Rising Books in Glebe, from early September 2009 you will find her Monday - Thursday at Pure Botanicals.
Sarah Barry is a popular professional tarot reader working in Sydney, Australia. Well-known for her calm and grounded presence, her readings reflect this through her unique delivery and accuracy.
Although aware of her psychic ability from an early age, she largely ignored this quality until the ripe old age of 24, when she started reading tarot cards for friends and family. She eased herself into reading for the public part-time in 2002 and made the transition to full-time professional tarot reader in May 2003.
Originally working from up to four stores across Sydney (Hornsby, Chatswood, Marrickville and Surry Hills) four days a week, then just two fantastic stores (Phoenix Rising Books in Glebe and Pure Botanicals in Newtown), she now works exclusively at Pure Botanicals.
This wholistic centre, run by two highly knowledgeable naturopaths is spread out over two levels. On the street level is the shop where the Pure Botanicals chemical-free body-care range is sold, along with other beautiful products, and a naturopathic dispensary. Downstairs is the clinic where practitioners run their businesses, offering massage, psychic readings, naturopathy, homeopathy, energy healing, acupuncture and counselling.
Though tarot reading was initially a means for Sarah to support her art practice, she was surprised by how much she was learning about people and about herself. As a result she has now fully embraced tarot reading as a career and plans to keep growing with it. Sarah has found that this work helps her to wrap her head around the complexities of humanity and reminds her of the importance of honest and clear communication.
As a tarot reading is something that so many people have had, or considered having at some point in their lives, this work attracts clients from a huge cross-section of society: all age groups, genders, sexualities, cultural/religious backgrounds and types of employment.
So, with every reading there is another person, another story, another way of perceiving the world and another opportunity for connection.
Sarah is a reader who other psychics come to see. With her open manner and willingness to connect with you on a heart-to-heart level, her readings are healing and authentic.
