I'm a musician and a writer of sorts. Most of my interests revolve around art forms, fun, and entertaining means of self-progression, including but not limited to:
Music, Art, Fishing, Camping, Hangin' out with the dudes, Animals, Chemistry, Gadgets, Philosophical discussion, And diving headfirst into the mystery of life.
Music
I don't have extremely specific guidelines for what I listen to. I don't feel that listing bands would be a productive means of conveying my musical taste. It's not a matter of the specific music that I like so much as the idea of music along it's lines. Besides, if the music I listen to is going to determine whether or you want to be my friend, I'd rather you not to begin with.
But for the most part, I tend to veer toward anything that I can see expressing intense complexity and blatantly brimming with talent, and at the same time, seamlessly and beautifully conveying emotion. Music isn't something I tend to judge by BUT, Don't be ignorant about what you blast into your ears all day. Your mind takes it and does SOMETHING with it. So make sure that the music reflects your values BEFORE you decide you like it. Don't let music tell you what to think or feel. That makes you no better than the flat circular object it was recorded on.

Well I dunno. Something... Good? Jeez. Always has to be about media with these things.
Television
I don't watch TV so much anymore. When I did, I just watched a lot of Adult Swim and nothing else. At this point I can hardly bear to watch it because it tends to form this reality in one's head that's far from the real one. And frankly, life has enough drama without having to keep up with an illuminated rectangle reflecting only the ideas of people who want to make money.
Books
Why are you so worried about what I'm interested in anyway? It's not too much of a chore to ask, is it?
About me:
Words and letters can hardly convey the true nature of one's character. Knowing this, I have chosen to spare myself the expense of pouring out my entire heart and soul into an explanation of my deepest wishes and desires to a SOCIAL NETWORKING PROFILE.
Anyone interested will seek out what information they wish. Though, if you can't tell, I am both very serious and utterly ridiculous.
Also... Just so you know. I'm not a boring asshole all the time. I just have a bit of a problem with the enormous percentage of people in the world that are inherently stupid. I don't judge at first glance, but honestly, it might be best if most people save themselves the trouble of appearing unintelligent, and just not say anything.
But chances are, if you can find appreciation in what little I've decided to share with the world, then you're prime material for a friend of mine.

Any simple minded one-dimensional non-individual who only seeks company or friendship to better their own situation, has no distinctive character, or distinguishable traits from any other mindless sheep. Sorry to be so blunt, but I'm tired of attempting to cope with anyone who doesn't fully accept or embrace the values I cherish, since they're those which should be considered universal.
Also, If you're just trying to add me to increase your number of friends, take a second and think of how much of your time, and my time that's being wasted in the process. All that's going to happen is I'll flag you for spam, and delete your message. Nice. Go outside or something. I'm sure if you have 3000 myspace friends you haven't seen sunlight in a year or so.
