From out of the shadows of Europa’s past, when a man’s honor was won by steel and sweat, there was a time when the legions marched to war under the sign of a horned god, and brought down all who sought their people’s freedom. It was from this time that a battle cry of “METAL!” is heard, and the legions shall march forth and conquer! Among them, four warriors from the northern islands bring axe, drums and voice to the fray! Taking influence from the warriors of traditional metal and the folk music of their ancestors, Lunarium is a powerful new force on the traditional metal stage. With bardic, epic, and often thought-provoking lyrics; stellar vocals, heavy, intertwining guitars; powerful drumming, splendid songwriting(without sounding formulaic or commercial), and savage, energetic live shows, Lunarium’s Celtic battle anthems are a fresh take on True Metal. Let the beer flow, the heads bang, and the air crackle with magick! Posers, corporate trend-mongers, and commercial music whores will die upon our Celtic Steel!

“GAME OVER” for Cup & Saucer Café Current mood: melancholy Category: Life
We regret to announce the closing of Cup & Saucer Café after three and a half years in business. Call 513-544-7017 for information on buying the business. It was a good run for a mom & pop business, longer than many expected, especially considering that Marcy had a stroke just one month after we started. We had a lot of nice employees, customers, and entertainers but there were too many factors working against us. Maybe we’ll write a book about it when things calm down, but basically we had too many expenses, not enough income, and way too much stress. Health problems are the primary cause of failure of small business, and we had to bail out before it killed one or both of us. So everybody take care while we do the same. Some day we’ll get back to making Marcy Burgers, presenting great performers and taking photos of them. In the meantime keep in touch. We’d love for you to share your memories of Cup & Saucer and we’d also love to hear about your progress, especially if you got your start on our stage. Please leave comments on our page so everyone can share.
Hails!!! I ASK YOU TO PLEASE HOLD FAST. Don't stop, your the best Pagan-Metal band in all of Vinland!!! Heritage Taken is one of the greatest songs ever written, ever! I hope i can get out of work so i can see the show, but if not, know i will wear my shirt proudly and keep my cd in my disc changer for all time. I feel like it was fate that i walked into your show in Lancaster, and i hope it's fate that the band will carry on. Leifken Andrews

Behold your latest album's review curteousy of Mark Gromen of BRAVE WORDS & BLOODY KNUCKLES:
LUNARIUM Lunarium (Farvahar) Celtic battle metal, sporting three-part vocal harmonies, from the cornfields of southern Ohio? Sounds too corny to be true, yet somehow the intriguing blend of oft a cappella, war torn lyrics melded folky and simultaneously thrashy European power metal works! The closest comparison might be Falconer (‘Sea Dragons’), as the key to this mixture is the talented clean voice of Cineed Loreweaver (who recently stepped aside, due to health concerns, solely to concentrate on guitar), ably backed by a smattering of gruffer throats. The sound throughout the fifteen tunes remains lively and upbeat. Themes range from the fun-loving (‘Trollslayer’, ‘Ale’) to battlefield valor (‘War Cry’, a superb, naked high pitch voiced ‘Hail The Fallen’, ‘Brothers In Arms’) and historical ‘1066’. The key ingredient here is fun (remember that?), 15 opportunities to enjoy, each with something different! ‘War Cry’ opts for a gruff viciousness, slices with killer guitar, while ‘Deathrides’ gallops on Steve Harris approved bass romp. Elsewhere military cadence snare enhances, while ‘Liberation’ employs backing “la, la, la” lyrics for effect. Live, the music retains a heavier edge. Raise a flagon in celebration of a new discovery. Cheers! Mark Gromen[8]
