...is a terrific compilation put together by Steph Anderson of Tonks and the Aurors to benefit To Write Love On Her Arms, a charity dedicated to helping people with depression and self-abuse problems. They do fantastic work in that area, and you couldn't ask for a more deserving charity to spend your hard earned sickles and knuts on. Luna's Celiling is thrilled to have our song "Slashkilter" on this comp...it's in some terrific company! Ordering is, as I write this, temporarily suspended while Steph gets caught up on existing orders, but check back. You'll be glad you did. Great wrock for a great cause.

OMG, Obliviate is SO good. It has a bit of a metal feel to it, and all in all it's really reminiscent of Icon of Coil, and I freakin' LOVE me some Icon of Coil. Well, mostly just from the "Machines Are Us" era, but still. Also, your vocals really work in this track. Not saying they're ever bad, but they've never gone with the music quite as well as they did in this track.
I love this breakdown-esque prtion around 3:45.

The new song is AMAZING. I was going to beg you for a single, but after hearing the whole thing, it feels like the opener to an album, an introduction to your music - magic meets machine. I really liked the bit about a minute from the end when you've got this sort of crystal sounding instrument going on in there, the sort of instrument you hear a lot in Split Seven Ways songs, and I really liked that, it had a more "magicy" feel to contrast with the definite machine techno pumping vibe going on.
I think I would have liked a bit more of that, or actually, not more, but sometime earlier, because that really helped the whole song come together and fit the title, which is important and very hard to do in an instrumental song.
Also, I think I remember hearing about a page redesign - is that still in the works? Not that I'll miss the little luna pic... ;)
Oh, and I hope you are releasing an album or something this year, or soon. Between this, "Hide No More", and Ariel's addition (have you guys found an electronic drummer yet?) to the "crew", I'm totally pumped for whatever your next release is.

The new mix really improves things! I really can hear Ariel's voice so much better, and I am now that much more impressed with her. Really can't wait to hear more stuff now!
