    ... The Lunatics – this is psychobilly, rock'n'roll, swing, punk and garage with german and english lyrics. Formed in 2002, the band today consists of Franky Lunatic (vocals), ex-Stoned Age-drummer Mauri, Marco (double bass), ex-Scum Rats-guitarist Chris on rhythm guitar and ex-Boozehounds-frontman Stevo on lead guitar. From their first day on the band played their own, unique brand of psychobilly music, mixing up old school psychobilly with u.s. punk, rock, surf and swing elements to get something new and surprising. With their second album "Bilingual", released winter 2010 by Crazy Love Records, the band reached their temporary heights, but most of the material for album no. 3 is allready finished – so there's some more to look forward to. On stage, the Lunatics play a diversified set of mid and high tempo songs, driven by Mauri's and Chris' punk drums and guitar riffs and Marco's thundering slap bass. Backed up by Franky's unique voice and Stevo's single note licks, they show their own and special view on today's psychobilly. .......... .. .. ..NEWS:.. The trouble went on and on, but finally we..re able to say that .."THE LUNATICS" are back!!!!!!!!!!.. After we seperated us from our last drummer Janosh, we invited Mauri ( Stoned Age and Bad Reputation ) to join The Lunatics. And what can we say after some funny hours in the practice room??? It fits and this both: humanly and in music. At time we..re working on our new set and think that we..ll be able to give you the first load Lunatics-Live in december.

The trouble went on and on, but finally we..re able to say that

"THE LUNATICS" are back!!!!!!!!!!

After we seperated us from our last drummer Janosh, we invited Mauri ( Stoned Age and Bad Reputation ) to join The Lunatics. And what can we say after some funny hours in the practice room??? It fits and this both: humanly and in music. At time we..re working on our new set and think that we..ll be able to give you the first load Lunatics-Live in december.

Founded in 2002 by the surviving members of kölschrockabilly band "HEAVY TEDDIES" and guys from the psychobilly outfit DEEPEST FEARS!
With that loony mixture of music the guys played several gigs, recorded a demo and with that got a contract with Tombstone Records... who released their full lenght debut album "ROCKMACHINE" in winter 2006!
Soon after drummer Scrat decided to concentrate on his own band "DEEPEST FEARS" so Tom joins his ex-BOOZEHOUNDS buddy Stevo in the "LUNATICS" for a couple of gigs in spring 2007.
In june 2007 Chris (formerly Stoned Age/Scum Rats) and in july 2008 Mauri (Stoned Age / Bad Reputation) joined the band after Chris D. and Janosh left the band.
